Grabyo was successfully launched with extensive coverage in leading technology, broadcast and advertising media (despite lacking external investors). Following the launch the company signed early deals with major rights holders and secured formal partnerships with leading social platforms including Twitter and Facebook.
Customer PR formed a key component of Grabyo's ongoing communications programme. The company's projects were covered extensively in national, technology, digital media and broadcast industry press. The campaign generated over 350 press articles in a year and the company was named one of the "hottest startup in the UK" by The Independent. This helped the company close a star-studded seed round with investment from global sports stars Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie and Tony Parker, as well as esteemed technology investor Jorg Mohaupt of Len Blavatnik's Access Industries.
TWPR developed high quality content including a series of reports on the rise of social video. The reports positioned early stage startup Grabyo as a thought leader and drove extensive media coverage as well as generating incoming sales leads.
TWPR raised the profile of Grabyo and positioned it as one of the most exciting startups in the UK through speaker slots at leading industry events including TechCrunch Disrupt and Web Summit.
